To your right is Gabby Douglas the gymnast, who you must match in three rounds consisting of a flip, double flip, then a triple flip. All you have to do is watch her tricks, then when it’s your turn, click when the red button tells you to, and you’ll do a flip! The prizes are the Super Flip Power and Gymnast Outfit.

To your left is WWE wrestler John Cena, who will challenge you to tug-of-war. Just click as fast as you can to pull the rope closer to your side. When you win, you’ll get the Flex Power and In-Ring Gear.

In other news, PHB reader Silver Wolf mentioned to us that the Mocktropica Island desktop wallpaper contains a to-do list in the corner that includes “Balloon Boy Rescue Island”!

Could this mean that the island being created in Mocktropica has to do with the one who floated away on Counterfeit Island, the running gag we’ve seen occasional glimpses of ever since? Hmm…

Hey guys, Blake here! I’m so happy to be a part of the esteemed PHB, a feat I’ve dreamt of accomplishing for five years. Five LONG years, might I add.. *glares at Juyo*

I’m basically just your average 13-year-old Poptropica loving boy. Some of my fave bands are Hollywood Undead and Owl City on occasion. My Poptropica username is mickety2, but you probably won’t find me often (but if you want to accomplish this, I can usually be found anywhere, often on the newer islands.) You might remember me as the guy who wrote the Poptropica Adventures guide.

Hello, world of the PHB! I’m so happy my good friend Slanted Fish aka Fishy, invited me to join the best blog in the world! You might know me from writing guides here, on the PHB, or from The TIB, my personal blog. To help Fishy I will try to post at least once a week. Here’s a little info about me:

I’m a 14-year-old boy who lives in the southern U.S.A. I love baseball, soccer, and swimming, but most of all God! I have been playing Poptropica for 4 to 5 years now, and my username is Samwow5. Hello everyone! Recently Poptropolis Games 2013 came out, not to our surprise, so I’m going to do a review of the whole island and what it has to offer!

Overall Gameplay:  A-/B+

The game was great, like last time. But I wished they would have changed it up for the WINTER Olympics to make it more fun instead of pretty much the same thing.

Soundtrack: A

The new soundtrack was awesome! Great detail into the music, even they have rock sounds in this island! But what I dislike about it is: When your intense mode and trying to focus, you hear this relaxing music and it annoys me. Still very well made!

Skiing and Octopus Volleyball: A

The games were amazing, but I wished they added a touch that will blow the others away. Like, you can ski over different surfaces and avoid stuff (BTW that was pretty hard). Very great games though!

Bonus Quest: B

Same as last year, still wish they would have added more. Anyway, the bonus quest was awesome, but that wrestlers is kinda scary looking O_o xD

The Smurfs have returned to Poptropica! On the main street of Poptropolis Games, you can find The Smurfs 2 ad, with a new questline since the movie just came out on DVD.

After you do the questline, popping bubbles with Smurfs in them to win, you get two prizes: a costume (Brainy for boys, Smurfette for girls) and Gargamel’s Wand, which allows you to, well, hold it and look cool. Honestly, after holding this item, I felt all like…

And they tryin to catch me ridin’ dirty

I then proceeded to parade around the island, doing my best Gargamel impressions and showing off. I don’t know how I can survive for 5 seconds without showing off.

Hopefully, you will read to the end of this post; I want you to be ready for what will soon hit this blog — I am HPuterpop; awesomeness unleashed.

I’ve been playing Poptropica since 2007; that’s the year Poptropica started!  I am a kid who loves to read, write, edit, and anything else involving the word “creative”.  I will try to serve you, the viewer, with lightning fast updates, Poptropica memoirs, and reviews!

Why are you here, you ask?  I’m the newest addition to the PHB.  You could call me a Renaissance kid, or a Poptropica fanatic… anyway, whatever you call me, I’m so excited to be a part of the Poptropica Help Blog legend.

I used to comment here when I was a (smaller) kid.  I went by the name “Puterpop”, and had a big mouth

A break from the news:

Hey everyone! I didn’t disappear, I have just been REALLY swamped with school work this semester, but I’m finally having time to both play and blog! Don’t worry, I’m going to be very active from now on that I managed to get through this first semester of high school. Back to the news!

With Mocktropica Island getting nearer and nearer, we may be getting our first look at what the inner workings of the Island will look like via the Daily Pop:

It looks like some of these resemble already established islands such as Twisted Thicket or Astro-Knights! Do you think that we will have to go into old islands and fix them? Some others look like we could either be creating new locations or maybe finishing locations. Either way, I think that these new locations shown in these previews will be pretty exciting!!

What do you think of these possible locations? How do you think that these locations will play into Mocktropica?

Hey everyone! It has been confirmed, Time Tangled Island has now been updated with the new navigation/soundtrack upgrade! Here’s the weird thing: the news was posted by an intern for the Poptropica Creators. His name is Gamer Guy!

You may have seen him in previous Daily Pop sneak peeks, and he is also on Zomberry Island (where we had the opportunity to play a video game in his apartment). Anyway, it sounds like Captain Crawfish is a bit wary of him too… (Hey Crawface, why don’t you hire the PHB crew?) Gamer Guy thinks the island isn’t his “type” – there’s not enough music, aliens, or fighting robots for him. Yeah, sounds like one of those 24/7/365 gaming addicts…

Hi Gs,

Have you heard?  Samwow5 was on the ball when he updated you guys on the new and improved Time Tangled Island! I literally flipped out when I saw that update email in my inbox… I’m sorry, but NZMSFNCJFVWHINJA GERCBFOAYWBFQIJA3RNFJIOQFI!!!!!!!!!

Time Tangled Island is the third to be released, and if you have been playing Poptropica for a while, you know the feeling I felt.  I was about 5 when I first played Time Tangled, and even though the new player is awful, the soundtrack is totally worth it!  Every different time period has a different soundtrack, something I think they should have done with a recent island, except with events instead of periods.

I might be doing a review on this updated island soon, so stay tuned, but until then, everyone in the whole universe has been waiting for them, the requested Poptropican Portraits!

I don’t know how I’m going to be doing these now; I talked to Fishy about it, and I think the best idea is to make a post that acts like a page for the portraits.  I’ll make one soon, so bookmark it to your toolbar when I do! Without further ado, here they are (you can click to enlarge them!):

Now, my reply to Gamer Guy — first, I wanna say that I know his real name.  I mean the character name, not the actual creator’s name.  It may be Bob, it may be Abe, it may be Jonathon Mcloud, I’ll be revealing it in my next post, 10 Things you DIDN’T know about Poptropica!

I really think this is a great idea; to make Gamer Guy a creator.  His txt talk is funny, he has a cool costume… but who is he?  We may never know, but perhaps we should look toward the newer islands, and their genre to figure out who he is… hmmm…

I’ve been poking around a bit in the Pop world, connecting some dots, and here’s what I’ve come up with:

1. Gamer Guy’s real name is Abe.

-Don’t believe me?  Check inside the bakery on Ghost Story island.  It’s a nice trivia, I thought.

2. Joe Puddy has visited Super Power Island.

-This one is only logical.  Zomberry Island has a lot of subways, right?  In the subway on Super Power Island, under the stairs you will find “Joe was here” written on the walls.

3. You have never been here, but have tried to get here before, maybe when you were younger:

-I’m not going to tell you where I am, but when you figure it out, you’re going to flip.  Guess in the comments!

4. Betty Jetty is Ned Noodlehead’s sister.

-This may be known by some, but not to others.  It came from the Poptropica Nintendo game, which I will be posting a review about soon.

5. Dr. Hare was created by Shark Boy as an arch enemy to a carrot super hero.

-Pretty kewl stuff.

6. Balloon Boy is actually based off of a real incident.

-It’s true!  Craziness is the world we live in. xD

7. There is a site for the Mews Foundation (from Cryptids Island).

-This may not be a surprise to everyone, but there is a site made by Poptropica, pretty silly stuff.

8. Poptropica Toys are gone!

-I’m serious!  None on the site, the link on the blog leads nowhere.  Start buying these babies off of Ebay, peoples, before they disappear forever!

9. Islands used to have a rating next to it on the map; it would say “hard”, “medium”, or “easy”.

-It was a nice feature; I actually thought it was helpful… nothing else to say about it.

10. Islands can be selected via the Tab and Enter key.

-One instance of keyboard input that effects the game.  I wonder what else can be done with the keys…

Hello everyone! I just wanted to inform you that the Unfinished Costume for Mocktropica Island is out now! You may of heard in my last post that Gamer Guy was now an intern for Poptropica. That’s right! Mocktropica Island will be available for members starting Thursday, December 19! That’s 6 days away; at least they won’t be “mocking” us anymore about the island! xD Non-members will get to play starting January 16, 2014. Also, I was hoping for someone to write the guide with me – anyone is welcome to help contribute!

Mocktropica Island will continue the trend of showing where you rank with other island finishers with the World Champions map. PHB reader Nameless UnDEFiNeD told us about a little error on the Mocktropica Tour page – if you look down at the bottom of the map, it says Virus Hunter instead!

In other news, Gamer Guy was fired from the Creators’ Blog because of his bad grammar and his promoting of a “competing” website. Crawfish actually thinks Mega Fighting Bots is taking players away! Wow Poptropica, I never thought they could have more players than you, you have like 500,000,000 players!

Anyway, that it Poptropicans! Stay cool! I know I will! TI out!

A while ago, Strange Cat (or Christmas Clown) mused that I may become the new Codien…

I didn’t really take it seriously, but now, I sort of wonder.  I think I may have hit the jack pot, I can prove it to you with a link.  Maybe even a couple links.  Anyway, let’s break this down into parts.

Gamer Guy

The talk of the town is that Gamer Guy got fired.  Well, I’m pretty sure he didn’t get fired.  I have my theories, but I also may know who he really is. I don’t know for sure, but Kyle Fox sure fits the description: http://www.linkedin.com/pub/kyle-fox/14/190/587

I believe that Kyle did a one time job for Poptropica, and the posts were just part of that.  They took advantage of the situation, and made it into a sort of publicity stunt.  When the job was over, his fun was over. This seems to be slightly forced though, so what do you guys think?

If I haven’t told you before, here it is:  if all else fails, I will root for the new improved islands JUST because of the amazing soundtrack. Jeff Heim is a genius, his music is genius, and you can hear the actual original soundtracks from their original files. This is only the beginning.  More will be revealed later.

This will be a quick post about my predictions on Mocktropica;

First, I want to tell you, if you haven’t figured it out already, that this blog is like a journal to me.  Any blog I get on is like a journal.  I truly am a Poptropica Fanatic, and I say that soundly… so I’m writing from my heart.  Whenever I get carried away, wait, I’ll get back to the subject.  I know my posts are sorta long, and they go on and on.  I really want to make an impression here… thanks for being so supportive!

Now, back to the good stuff, I got some ideas from Nameless UnDEFiNed.  I then started to connect the dots.  The island will be like no other because it’s being played through right now!  I believe that Gamer Guy is the one behind the glitches, after he got fired!  There’s no more explanation needed, it’s that obvious, plain, and simple!

I have a hunch I’m right, what do you think?
